Been out three times now with Martin the first trip was on the 22-08, and a look at some paintings at the museum as Martin knows the artist, then on to Selby with a few stop offs on the A19, so managed to get a lot of images some from the Selby canal, and a lot from the demolition of the grain silo in Eggborough.
The second trip was to Sheffield canal basin on 25-08, I think on the hottest day, again got some good images and also made a few movies so that was good.
Again on 30-08, we had a walk around the market in Doncaster for people photography, and were surprised at the Corn Exchange, as there are quite a few artists who have set up studios and small galleries to show there work.
We had a chat with a few, and the most colourful one was Chinwe Russell a very passionate artist and was telling us about the Doncaster art fair that is happening in September 2019.
I have not done any people type photography in years, and I have been thinking about it now for a few months, and it’s something that can be done easily in town (If you have the nerve) When Martin and me went to town I did not do many closeups as I found it hard to talk to people on the street, so all I did was pick up the camera and just took passers by.
